Constructing things with what you have at hand is a work philosophy that not only activates the imagination, but also makes the fulfilment of dreams possible. it is not about defending realism, but quite the opposite.

Gustavo Diéguez y Lucas Gilardi son arquitectos que disfrutan de la construcción de proyectos con sus propias manos. Su trabajo consiste en la producción de una variedad de objetos de uso cotidiano que llegan a alcanzar el tamaño de piezas de arquitectura.En sus proyectos combinan el arte, la arquitectura, la sociología y el urbanismo, con un particular interés por la reutilización de restos industriales y el reciclaje aplicados a la vivienda experimental, a la formación de instituciones efímeras, a la activación de dinámicas sociales en el espacio público y a la autogestión de espacios culturales.

Both were born in 1968 in Buenos Aires. In 2006 they began to develop projects under the pseudonym of a77, though they had been associated with numerous experiments well before then. They specialize in carrying out experimental housing projects and design in addition to projects which link the subjects of contemporary art with urban planning by producing building feature and social dynamics
